Procedure:

First thing that we have to do is skin the coconut and then, poke a hole into it. There are 3 holes in a coconut so just poke it right in the middle. Once you have the hole, drain the juice and put it in a pitcher.

Next thing is to separate the Coconut meat from the shell. To do this, split the coconut in two and then put it in the oven for a couple minutes this will make the separation process a lot easier.

When the coconut is hot enough, remove them from the oven and then separate the meat from the shell. Some of the shell may still stick on the meat so make sure to remove them completely.

After that, slice the coconut meat into small pieces. Now add the coconut meat, juice and water all together in a pot, we will be using a pressure cooker. Let it steam for a couple of minutes.

Next, what we’ll do is to put everything that we have on the pot (coconut meat, juice) into a blender. If your’s starts to get a bit dry or if you feel like you don’t have enough liquid, you can add some water into it. The meat should look like it’s flowing on the water, that’s how you’ll know it’s enough.

After blending, put it in a strainer and place a bowl under it. You’ll notice that the coconut milk will be dripping under. Get a small towel and press the meat downward to fully separate the milk from the coconut meat.

Then that’s it! You now have Coconut milk!
