WALNUT DIJON CHICKEN SALAD
With raisins for a sweet touch, apples, spinach, oregano, chicken, and the savory taste of mustard, you can enjoy an amazing and healthy chicken salad sandwich right in the comforts of your home!
What You’ll Need:
1 cup chicken breast, shredded and cooked
2 slices whole grain bread
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. yogurt dressing
2 tbsp. walnuts, ground
½ green apple, sliced
1/4 cup Olive Oil
You want to start by slicing the apple. Remember to always use your guard and place them on the side. Take the bread and add some delicious, savory mustard on one side. Place the thin apple slices on top.
Since the chicken is going on its own, you can add a little extra pepper and salt. Add a couple tablespoons of grated walnuts which are super healthy and delicious! Place them on top of the second slice of bread. Top it off with the spinach and the oregano.
And that’s it! You now know how to make chicken salad sandwiches with walnuts, the perfect savory dressing, and some healthy greens!
