For those of us on a keto diet, the holidays can be especially difficult as we have to be more careful about what we choose to eat so as not to slip out of ketosis. However, through some creative thinking and a little discipline, the holidays can be a celebration of food, family and the true meaning of Christmas.

Recognise Keto Friendly Foods- this is especially helpful for those new to the keto diet. By knowing what you can and can’t eat, you will be better prepared for the variety of foods served at most holiday gatherings. Know Your Weaknesses And Set Limits- overindulging is common during the holidays and it is best to know your weaknesses so you can avoid those things. Also, set limits for yourself. That way, if you do happen to overindulge, you will be able to stop yourself.
