- 1 pound Chickpeas
- 6 cups Water
- 1 tsp Garlic
- 2 whole Bay leaves
- 1 whole Red onion
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Brown rice (p/serving)
- 1 tbsp Natural sugar free yogurt (p/serving)
Soak the CHICKPEAS O GARBANZO beans overnight (or for 6 hours) in water.
Add the hydrated chickpeas to the pressure cooker with the existing water. Then add enough fresh water to cover 1 or 2 centimeters.
Add the garlic, bay leaves, and the red onion
Cook in the pressure cooker for 30 minutes in high
When serving with the previously cooked brown rice, add a pinch of olive oil.
To enjoy a delicious and balanced dinner add a salad.
