Quinoa Flatbreads
How to Cook Flatbread Tortillas | Flatbread Quinoa | Flatbread Arepas, Quinoa Flatbreads, tortillas or arepas are amazing! Enjoy them any time of the day. Give them to your children and have them for breakfasts with any spread you like. Easily made, they can also be frozen once flattened; pre-cooked or raw. To freeze them place them between plastic wrap so they peel easily when frozen. Do not use parchment paper to freeze as they stick.

- 1/3 cups Quinoa
- 2/3 cup Water
- 1/4 tsp Coconut oil
Place quinoa in 1/3 cup water for 5 minutes to activate it.
Transfer to a pot with the rest of the water. Cook in medium-high for 10 minutes. Set aside covered for 10 minutes more.
Open the pot and transfer quinoa to a food processor. Process to a paste, about 2 minutes.
Make balls with a 3 tablespoon-sized ice cream scoop.
Flatten them in a tortilla press or prepare them in a Tortilla or Crepe Panini Grill or a regular Panini Grill. On the store, press them first then place them on an oiled pan over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes per side, or until as crispy as desired. Soft for bendable flatbreads, crispy for flat or cracker-like flatbreads.
