  • 1 pound Chickpeas
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 2 whole Bay leaves
  • 1 whole Red onion
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Brown rice (p/serving)
  • 1 tbsp Natural sugar free yogurt (p/serving)


  • Soak the CHICKPEAS O GARBANZO beans overnight (or for 6 hours) in water.
  • Add the hydrated chickpeas to the pressure cooker with the existing water. Then add enough fresh water to cover 1 or 2 centimeters.
  • Add the garlic, bay leaves, and the red onion
  • Cook in the pressure cooker for 30 minutes in high
  • When serving with the previously cooked brown rice, add a pinch of olive oil.
  • To enjoy a delicious and balanced dinner add a salad.
